Board of Commissioners Meeting Preview

The Board of Commissioners will hold their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 13th beginning at 4:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Town Hall, but please note there is a change in meeting rooms. While the Public Works building is under renovation, meetings for ALL town boards will take place in the large social room.

The meeting will begin with monthly reports presented by Town Department heads, Skyland Fire Department, and the Town Manager. The Board will then receive two presentations. The first is from WithersRavenel, a consulting firm working with the Town on the Greenwood Park Master Plan project. The second presentation will be from Paul Zimmerman, a local resident who is assisting the Town in developing a citizen survey.

The Board will also receive a report from the Town Manager regarding the first phase of the stormwater master plan. The Town Manager will also provide updates on the construction project at the Public Works Building. Finally, the Board will consider a resolution to sale surplus town equipment.
