Police Department
- Congratulations to Officer Joe Zub: Officer Zub graduated from the Law Enforcement Leadership Academy (LELA) at A-B Tech’s training facility in Woodfin. We are very proud of Ofc. Zub and the work he has already accomplished within Biltmore Forest. We look forward to watching his career progress!
- Congratulations to Chief Beddingfield: We received some truly remarkable news that Chief Beddingfield received the Law Enforcement Executive of the Year Award for the North Carolina Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Chief Beddingfield received this award for his role in advancing the region and state in Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) and moving our entire department forward to be certified in this work. Thank you Chief Beddingfield for all that you do and aspire to be!

- Collected garbage and recycling
- Provided utility locates
- Conducted tree assessments
- Collected daily water chlorine tests
- Serviced dog waste stations
- Mowed and string trimmed Town Hall complex, Busbee triangle, Lower Vanderbilt Park, Rosebank Park, Hemlock Pond & Road Shoulders, Brookside Park, & Town Entrances
- Finished fine grading at Hemlock pond
- Picked up brush on the south side of town
- Finished trimming road shoulder at Southwood Road
- Distributed revised recycle calendars
- Trimmed road shoulder on Cedar Hill Drive
- Conduct progress meeting for the stormwater project
