Weekly Biltmore Forest Updates:

Town Hall Updates:

  • Children's Field Day & Food Truck Friday will take place next Friday, August 25th
    • Please sign up here to participate
  • Upcoming club events
    • The Running Club will be meeting at Town Hall Saturday, August 19th beginning at 9am.
    • Sunday Stretch will be moved to this Sunday, August 20th -  Contact Leslie Brazil 828.777.9329 with any questions.

Public Works Updates:

  • Collected garbage and recycling
  • Mowed and string trimmed
    • Road Shoulders, Greenwood Park, LVP, Brookside Park, Town Hall Complex, & Holly Hill Island
  • Utility locates
  • Tree Assessments
  • Completed daily water chlorine tests
  • Cleared the following road shoulders:
    • Brookside, Hemlock, Brooklawn Chase Roads, Arboretum Rd, & Forest Rd
  • Removed dead limbs at Holly Hill streetlight, Southwood/Vanderbilt stop sign
  • Serviced dog waste stations twice this week
  • Continued removal of invasives from Rosebank Park area
  • Completed significant repairs/maintenance to Isuzu garbage truck
  • Attended consultant interviews with TH staff and Board
