Town Hall:
- Friends of Biltmore Forest Meeting will be taking place Monday, September 11th at 9:30am
- The Board of Commissioners will be meeting on Tuesday, September 12th at 4:30pm
- Upcoming Club Events:
- Sunday Stretch Class will be taking place at Town Hall on Sunday, September 10th
Police Department:
- We launched the new License Plate Reader Cameras and Vanderbilt Rd and Valley Springs Rd
Public Works:
- Collect garbage and recycling
- Mow and string trim
- Road Shoulders, Greenwood Park, Lower Vanderbilt Park, Brookside Park/Hemlock Pond, Town Hall Complex
- Utility locates
- Tree Assessments
- Daily water chlorine tests
- Service dog waste stations
- Cleaned stump grindings from Lower Vanderbilt Park and Brookside Park
- Re-wired replacement streetlight for 394 Vanderbilt
- Road striping contractor continued work on Browntown Road. Work will continue in two weeks
- Painting of Town Hall exterior continued this week
- Continued South brush route pick-up; will conclude next week
- Arborist attended one-day Tree Conference in Cary, NC
