Thursday, July 4th Independence Day Children's Parade 10am-12pm

Please join us on Thursday, July 4th for the Town's annual Independence Day parade! Dress in your best patriotic attire! The day begins meeting outside the Town Hall to march in the parade. Parade registration will begin at 8:45am and the cutoff time to register is 9:30am. No entries will be accepted after 9:30am. Trophies will be awarded for Best Individual Costume, Best Group Costume, and Best Wheels(bicycles, tricycles, wagons, etc.) Please make sure to line up in the correct registration line so the judges can get your information. The awards will be presented and the parade will march to Rosebank Park at 9:50am. We will provide hot dogs, watermelon, cotton candy, sno-cones, and ice cream. There will also be inflatables, balloon twisting, and the Skyland Fire Department will provide a fire truck with water fun! The event ends at 12pm. At the park, there will also be a small car show.
