TOWN UPDATE - Wednesday, November 27, 2024
First and foremost, please let me extend a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. We have come a long way in nearly 9 weeks and have much to do – but each day provides an opportunity to continue moving forward. Thank you all for your patience, support, and care as the Town recovers.
Debris Removal
Through yesterday, the Town’s debris contractor has removed 186,165 cubic yards of vegetation from the public rights of way. The contractor has also hauled out 45,255 cubic yards of wood chips to the mulch processor in Maggie Valley. Please do not interrupt the contractors or ask them questions as this disrupts operations. If you have questions regarding debris removal, please reach out to the Town directly. All storm related debris will be removed before the contractor finishes.
